Oracle one of the best tech giant company in the world open itsnew branch in Dhaka Bangladesh but it has begun its operations in Bangladeshtwenty years back.

Finance Minister, AHM Mustafa Kamal appreciated the US techgiant’s move in Bangladesh and mentioned Bangladesh economy surged 8.15 percentlast fiscal year, the highest in the Asia Pacific region.

State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present withUS Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R Miller and he said “I would like tocongratulate Oracle on this milestone, particularly since they have been closetechnology partners supporting Bangladesh’s development agenda”.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak also said “The government is committed totransform Bangladesh into a digital nation by 2021 and we look forward toworking with the Oracle to fulfill this important vision,”.

 “With an ecosystem of a 50-plus strong partnercommunity in Bangladesh, we continue to support the digital transformation forour customers in the region,” said Rubaba Dowla, managing director of OracleBangladesh.

“This new office is another milestone of our commitment tothe country,” she said.
