The experimental web portal ‘http://mycourt.judiciary.org.bd/’ hasbeen launched for virtual court management. Applications, hearings will all bethrough this portal.

A lawyer has to register with his name, photo, email address andmobile number to go to the court on behalf of the plaintiff/defendant. Toprevent coronavirusinfection, court proceedings are set to begin on Monday with a virtual presenceusing information technology, excluding physical presence duringgovernment-announced holidays and vacations. The virtual court \'MyCourt\'has already been launched on the web on an experimental basis.

After registration, the lawyer can log in with the username andpassword and enter the virtual court portal. There will be registration, the lawyer can login with the username and password andenter the virtual court portal. There will be two houses for bailapplication and bail bond submission.

If a lawyer wants to apply for bail, he has to enter the bailhouse and upload the original bail application, power of attorney, and attacheddocuments in three separate steps. In this case, no application fee will becharged.

After the submission of the application, the officer of theconcerned bench will start the process of accepting the application forhearing. After the approval of the concerned judge, the link of the videoconference will be sent to the lawyer by email informing the time of the hearing.Alert will be given in SMS.

Judges and concerned lawyers will be involved in the videoconference at the specified time. The hearing on the application will continuein this way. If bail is granted, bail bond can be submitted from the portal.
