In an effort to empower Bangladesh’s youth with industry-relevant digital skills, PeopleNTech Institute of IT has launched a new initiative offering completely free skill development courses under a government-supported project. The initiative aims to reduce unemployment by equipping students and job seekers with practical IT and freelancing skills that are currently in high demand both locally and globally.

According to the institute, the program has been designed to support young people who are unable to afford professional training but are eager to build sustainable careers in the technology sector. Participants will receive hands-on training, career guidance, and opportunities to develop real-world skills that can help them enter the job market or begin freelancing careers.

The available courses include Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Marketing, Penetration Testing, Data Science & Analytics, Software Testing & Quality Assurance, Web Application Development with Python, and Accounting for Freelancing. The courses are aligned with current industry trends and are focused on practical learning rather than only theoretical knowledge.

PeopleNTech stated that the training program also includes career support services such as freelancing guidelines, interview preparation, mentoring sessions, and professional development assistance. Eligible trainees will have the opportunity to receive NSDA government certification upon successful completion of the course.

The initiative comes at a time when Bangladesh is witnessing increasing demand for skilled professionals in technology and digital services. Industry experts believe that freelancing, software development, cybersecurity, and data analytics are among the fastest-growing career sectors for the country’s youth.

Speaking about the initiative, Mohammad Abdul Hamid, COO of PeopleNTech, emphasized the importance of skill-based education in today’s economy.

“Many talented young people in Bangladesh are falling behind not because they lack potential, but because they lack opportunities. We believe financial limitations should never stop someone from learning. Through this initiative, we want to help young people gain practical skills, build confidence, and create sustainable career opportunities for themselves,” he said.

He further added that the organization aims to bridge the gap between education and employment by focusing on real-world industry requirements and career readiness.

PeopleNTech officials also mentioned that the institution has been continuously working to promote practical IT education and workforce development in Bangladesh. By providing accessible training opportunities, the organization hopes to contribute to the country’s growing digital economy and help more young people become self-reliant.

Interested applicants can contact the institute directly for enrollment and detailed information regarding course schedules and eligibility requirements.
