Digital andTelecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar commented that digital security isessential for all types of internet users including children.

He said safe internet isessential to build skilled human resources capable of tackling the challengesof digital art revolution. To achieve this goal, we will have to work in acoordinated way by determining to do the right thing.

The task of securingdigital security is not a single department and agency act, said MustafaJabbar. It is easy to deal with the situation if the concerned agenciesincluding the Digital Security Agency and the law enforcement agencies worktogether.

The minister said thiswhile speaking as the chief guest at the Digital Security and Duty HeadworksWorkshop organized by Digital Security Agency and Information TechnologyDivision in Dhaka on Saturday.

The minister said thegovernment started work on Digital Bangladesh three years before the fourthindustrial revolution was discussed in the world. No one even thought thatdigital safety law would be introduced in Bangladesh. Its coverage in thedigital world and its security is a huge issue. There is no scope to debateabout it.

Children need to use the Internetto create skilled human resources to combat the global challenges of thefuture. The minister said that in order to provide a safe Internet to the newgeneration from the age of five years, the minister will have to makearrangements.

Because we are asking forachieving skill on the internet, on the other hand, if not able to secure theirsecurity, it will not be possible.

Referring to the digitalwar in the coming days, the minister said, there is a need to gain hugepotential in this regard. In front of the wonderful technology, the driverlesscar will run, the Robot Garments Industry will serve as an alternative to thepeople.

The Minister stressed theneed for technology to be protected by technology and creating awareness.
