The digital platform \'AmraKorboJoy\' has been launched to raise funds to encourage marginalfarmers in private initiatives. Through this, Green Delta Insurance and itssubsidiaries have already deposited the equivalent of one day\'s salary on thisplatform to raise funds to help farmers affected by the Corona epidemic.

The platform has beenlaunched jointly with mobile financial service provider Cash to raise fundsfrom other corporate entities and expatriates. The fundraising will start onMay 3 and will continue till May 17.

At an online pressconference on Thursday, a website called AmraKorboJoy.net was launched to raisefunds.

Farzana Chowdhury,Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Company, Tanvir A Mishuk,Managing Director of Cash, Mohammad Aminul Haque, Acting CEO and Syed MoinuddinAhmed, Additional Managing Director of Green Delta Insurance Company werepresent at the press conference.

The money will bedisbursed to farmers before Eid-ul-Fitr through cash transaction services, the press release said.
