Virtual court 'MyCourt' launched on web

The experimental web portal ‘http://mycourt.judiciary.org.bd/’ has been launched for virtual court management. Applications, hearings will all be through this portal.

A lawyer has to register with his name, photo, email address and mobile number to go to the court on behalf of the plaintiff/defendant. To prevent coronavirus infection, court proceedings are set to begin on Monday with a virtual presence using information technology, excluding physical presence during government-announced holidays and vacations. The virtual court 'MyCourt' has already been launched on the web on an experimental basis.

After registration, the lawyer can log in with the username and password and enter the virtual court portal. There will be registration, the lawyer can login with the username and password and enter the virtual court portal. There will be two houses for bail application and bail bond submission.

If a lawyer wants to apply for bail, he has to enter the bail house and upload the original bail application, power of attorney, and attached documents in three separate steps. In this case, no application fee will be charged.

After the submission of the application, the officer of the concerned bench will start the process of accepting the application for hearing. After the approval of the concerned judge, the link of the video conference will be sent to the lawyer by email informing the time of the hearing. Alert will be given in SMS.

Judges and concerned lawyers will be involved in the video conference at the specified time. The hearing on the application will continue in this way. If bail is granted, bail bond can be submitted from the portal.
