The digital platform 'AmraKorboJoy' has been launched to raise funds to encourage marginal farmers in private initiatives. Through this, Green Delta Insurance and its subsidiaries have already deposited the equivalent of one day's salary on this platform to raise funds to help farmers affected by the Corona epidemic.

The platform has been launched jointly with mobile financial service provider Cash to raise funds from other corporate entities and expatriates. The fundraising will start on May 3 and will continue till May 17.

At an online press conference on Thursday, a website called AmraKorboJoy.net was launched to raise funds.

Farzana Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Company, Tanvir A Mishuk, Managing Director of Cash, Mohammad Aminul Haque, Acting CEO and Syed Moinuddin Ahmed, Additional Managing Director of Green Delta Insurance Company were present at the press conference.

The money will be disbursed to farmers before Eid-ul-Fitr through cash transaction services, the press release said.
