A separate job portal for disabled people: Palak

State
Minister for Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has been talking about
making a separate job site for disable people.
People
with incapacities can without much of a stretch apply for a vocation at home,
and they can arrange a prospective employee meet-up.
State
Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak said, "Specially enabled persons can apply
online for information exchange, particularly as per the capabilities and the
activity of making an entry to begin and accept a position meet through video
conferencing".
He
said that the portal will be very easy to work with the employer of any place
as soon as the employer communicates with the employer.
The
State Minister said this while inaugurating the IT competition for disabled
people organized by Bangladesh Computer Council and Asia Pacific University at
Asia Pacific University in Green Road, Dhaka.
In
the function, the State Minister said that importance is given to the inclusion
of disabled people in the main stream of development. Disabled is not the
burden of the country. In his discourse, he guided them to orchestrate
employments via preparing them to join the standard improvement of the disabled.
In
the next one year, about three thousand disabled students will be trained in
seven Regional Offices of the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). In the
next five years, the employment of 10 lakh young people in the ICT sector will
be arranged, of which at least one percent will be disabled.
Palak
said the disabled people are not the burden of the country, but they are our
development advocates.
During
the following five years, ten lakh occupations will be made in the IT part. At
any rate one percent of handicapped individuals will find the opportunity
there.
In
fact, in the year 2016, national IT competition started with disability. This
year's competition was the fourth arrangement.
Chairman
of the Board of Trustees of the University of Asia Pacific Manzur Ahmed
Chowdhury, Executive Director of BCC Partha Pratim Das, senior officials of the
Department of Information spoke on the occasion.
Out
of 100 participants participating in IT-related competitions from different
districts of the country, three of the three winners were declared in the four
divisions.
